🤖 Books are Using AI Against You
Jaxon was built to fight back
The sportsbooks have never been smarter. And if you're not paying attention, they've never been more dangerous to your bankroll either.
The numbers alone tell a staggering story. The U.S. sports betting handle hit $166.9 billion in 2025, up from $121 billion just two years prior. That growth isn't happening because more people are casually throwing money on their favorite team. It's happening because sportsbooks have turned artificial intelligence into their most powerful competitive weapon, and they're using it against you every game.
Live betting now represents over 62% of global online sports betting volume, micro-markets are the fastest-growing category in the industry, and the algorithms setting those lines have been fine-tuned to identify and limit anyone who bets too well.
DraftKings now offers an average of 517 live betting options per game, up from 124 in 2022, powered by machine learning models that generate real-time odds for every pitch, play, and possession with zero human intervention. FanDuel posted a record 14.5% structural hold in Q4 2024, a number that climbs as they extract more value from bettors, making them the most profitable betting platform. Caesars ran the entire 2025-26 NFL season on its own proprietary AI tech stack for the first time. These operators have collectively spent over a billion dollars acquiring AI companies since 2023. They are not doing that to make your life easier.
This is the arms race you're actually in. Not just you versus the spread, but you versus the books processing a million data points before your bet slip even loads.
That's exactly why we built Jaxon. While the books were busy buying AI companies, we were building one for the other side of the counter. Jaxon is your sports betting co-pilot, trained specifically on betting markets, odds movement, line behavior, and the strategies sharp bettors actually use. Ask it about tonight's sharpest plays, compare NBA First Basket props, or dig into how to attack a specific team following a marquee trade. The more specific your question, the sharper the answer.
The sportsbooks are deploying AI at a scale that would have been unimaginable five years ago. Knowing what's happening inside these systems is no longer optional information for a serious bettor. It's the baseline.
Jaxon exists to close that gap and to find edges in a market that is working very hard to take your money.

🏀 An Early Taste of NBA Playoffs
Tonight's NBA schedule features six teams fighting against each other for postseason positioning, and the margins separating them are thin. This is exactly the kind of slate where Jaxon earns its keep. Before you lock anything in, let's walk through what the metrics are actually saying.
New York Knicks +5.5 (-120)
The Thunder carry the league's best Net Rating at +11.1, a number built almost entirely on a defense that ranks first in the NBA and allows the lowest effective field goal percentage at the rim in the league. The problem is that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams are both currently listed as out, which guts the engine that makes the Thuner work.
The Knicks, sitting at 23-8 at home and ranked third in offensive rating, are built for exactly this kind of game. Their offensive rebounding profile, seventh in the league at 30.9%, runs directly into OKC's biggest weakness: the Thunder rank 29th in defensive rebounding. Second-chance points through Karl-Anthony Towns and Mitchell Robinson could make this ugly in a hurry.
Charlotte Hornets +7.5 (-120)
The Celtics remain the league's most efficient offense despite Jayson Tatum's absence, but Charlotte's Kon Knueppel is having a rookie season that demands respect. Knueppel ranks 14th in true shooting percentage league-wide and leads all high-volume shooters in three-point percentage. He is on pace to be the first to win Rookie of the Month for 5 months in a row since Doncic in 2018-19.
The Hornets have gone 7-3 over their last ten games, rank second in total rebound percentage, and I think are going to keep this closer than the line implies.
Atlanta Hawks Moneyline (+111)
This one is almost unfair on paper. The Hawks rank first in transition points added per 100 possessions, and the Bucks rank dead last in transition defense allowed. Milwaukee has dropped two straight, sits at 23rd in Net Rating, and is only 14-15 at home. Atlanta has won four in a row, leads the league in assists, and is the better team right now by almost every measure. Getting plus money on the Hawks here is genuine value.
If you want to pressure-test any of these angles before you bet, pull up the Jaxon app on your phone and ask it to break down one of the matchups. Ask about transition efficiency in the Hawks-Bucks game, or how OKC's defense holds up when their top two scorers are out.
🌲 The Pine Line
⚾️ Seeing these names in one batting order might give you chills. Team USA is stacked for WBC.
⚽️ 100 days out, the World Cup has problems. The off-field situation is getting a lot more complicated.
🏎️ A thousand F1 staff are stranded. Chaos unfolding before the Australian GP.
🏀 Trae Young finally showed up in a box score this season. Young hasn’t played, but he’s making his presence felt.
🏈 The 2019 first overall pick is out 7 seasons later. My money says he’s heading to the Jets.
🏒 Jaxon and the Pine Sports App Makes NHL Bets Easier

The NHL Trade Deadline is at 3:00p.m. ET Friday. It’s been largely quiet at last check, and reportedly there have been many reasons such as the new Collective Bargaining Agreement limiting third-party involvement and there not being as many highly coveted players available, though they do exist.
There may be a lot to process once these moves finally occur and it’s time to place your NHL bets.
That’s Where Jaxon Comes In
Jaxon is keeping up with everything and adjusting its betting advice. The moment a deal is announced, such as a shutdown defenseman shipped to a contender or one pivotal marksman switching sweaters, Jaxon will tell you what that move means for puck line and prop wagers.
Especially with a loaded Wednesday slate, you’ll want every edge you can get, whether there’s a flurry of trade action or not.
On top of that, accessing Jaxon is even easier with the Pine Sports App!
As it stands, here’s what Jaxon and I recommend:
Devils ML (-113) vs Maple Leafs

New Jersey will be playing the second game of a back-to-back, and while it might make some bettors nervous, it could also provide value.
Toronto is struggling defensively, allowing an average of 3.9 goals in each of its last ten contests. No matter what defensive stat you’re looking at, Toronto’s play at the blue line has been brutal:

And now, the Maple Leafs’ offense has been non-existent, averaging just 2.6 goals over each of their last ten games. New Jersey is getting an easier opponent in its back-to-back and should win in the process.
Blues ML (+110) at Kraken

Let’s have some fun betting on a road underdog!
Just because St. Louis is almost definitely not making the playoffs doesn’t mean they are “tanking” or unable to score. They’ve been averaging 3.5 goals in each of their last ten games.
Not only will Seattle have to try and stymie so many Blues sharpshooters, they may have to do so without the services of defenseman Ryan Lindgren. He’s dealing with an upper-body injury that has sidelined him for an indefinite period of time.
Also, St. Louis is playing a physical brand of hockey, inflicting more hits this season (1362) than all but two other NHL teams.
Seattle is catching St. Louis at a bad time, so I am backing the Blues.
Islanders at Ducks O6.5 Goals (-118)

Here’s some simple math: the Islanders are averaging 3.6 goals in each of their last ten games, while the Ducks are also averaging 3.6 tallies in each of their last ten. Add them up, and you get 7.2, well over the 6.5.
More importantly, despite missing the last few games with a lower-body injury, Isles winger Jonathan Drouin told reporters he should be available. Assuming the forward depth is there for New York, they should manhandle an Anaheim defense that’s been struggling all season long.
New York’s defense could also be due to struggle, as it’s allowed the third-most expected goals against this season. A high-scoring hockey game is anticipated in Southern California.
The Edge is Yours
The books may have AI working against you on every bet, but now Jaxon is in your pocket on iOS and Android, so you can fight back faster than ever.
