🔥Over $1 Million Sitting in a Box

The most expensive bounty in sports history, plus high-scoring MLB games to target

Somewhere in a sealed box of 2025-26 Topps Chrome Update Basketball sits a card nobody has found yet, and the offers for it are already rising past a million dollars.

Flagg Topps

The product hit shelves August 6. The card is a one of one debut patch cut from the jersey Cooper Flagg wore in the first half of his NBA debut against San Antonio on October 22, 2025, a night he posted 10 points and 10 rebounds in 32 minutes during a 125-92 loss. He signed it July 17 at Fanatics Fest in New York, and Topps kept it under glass for the rest of the weekend. It is seeded as a redemption, so whoever pulls it submits the slip to Topps and receives the actual card. Ninety-nine different debut patches exist league wide, 93 with autographs.

The bidding started before anyone opened a pack. Dallas assembled a package including two premium lower level seats for 32 years, a signed game worn rookie jersey, a practice facility tour, a private session for ten guests, and a road trip to Boston. The whole thing is valued somewhere between high six figures and a million. Ken Goldin countered with a $1.5 million cash advance, though that is against a future auction rather than a purchase. The Athletic reported multiple private bounties already sitting at seven figures.

The comps support it. Paul Skenes' debut patch went for $1.11 million in March 2025, and the jersey this patch came from sold for $1 million on its own. At such a young age, the value should only go up throughout his career.

Flagg averaged 21.0, 6.7, and 4.5, won Rookie of the Year, and became the youngest player ever to hit 50 in a game.

📈 Scores Climbing Across the League

Ten games on the board today, and three of them are set up for plenty of run-scoring.

Mets @ Braves Over 8.5

Neither starter has a comfortable draw in this matchup. Christian Scott meets a Braves offense sitting sixth in baseball with 574 runs and a top ten OPS at .735, with Michael Harris II already four for eight with a homer against him.

Bryce Elder has the harder assignment. The current Mets roster owns a .339 career average and .625 slugging mark against him, and Francisco Lindor is hitting .462 with two long balls in 16 trips. Truist plays even for runs at 100 but nudges hits to 102. Expect plenty of baserunners and plenty of scoring plays.

Rockies @ Diamondbacks Over 8.5

Chase Field ranks second in the sport with a 106 runs factor and 105 for hits, and its doubles and triples marks reward gaps. Colorado has scored more than expected this year, ranking seventh with 564 runs, and they draw Michael Soroka, who has posted a 4.83 ERA and 1.29 WHIP across his recent starts.

Gabriel Hughes goes the other way with little history against this Arizona lineup, which usually favors aggressive hitters. The Rockies staff sits last in the majors in both ERA at 5.48 and WHIP at 1.51, so the return traffic should follow.

Rays @ Athletics Over 9.5

The A's rank 29th in ERA at 5.47 and 29th in WHIP at 1.50, and Jacob Lopez brings a thin track record against a Rays offense sitting seventh in wRC+ at 104.44. Freddy Peralta strikes people out but gives up homers, and this Oakland roster has hit .282 against him across their careers, with Alika Williams and Jonah Heim both at .500.

Oakland has surrendered 671 runs, most in baseball, and their bullpen is the reason this one can turn into a late shootout. If any game is going to put up a score that looks more like a football outcome, it’s probably this one.

 🌲 The Pine Line

🏒 Everyone wants him, few have the capital to get him. Stanley Cup hopefuls could make trade of the century.

🏈 Detroit had to grab a new backup QB out of nowhere. Some players mean more than their stats ever could.

🏌️ Koepka had just one word to describe his season. The five-time major champion will be watching from home.

🔥 Tracking Tonight’s MLB Batter Props

Dean Kremer faces the club that traded him before the deadline, and revenge starts only work when the arm cooperates. His does not.

A 5.93 ERA, a 1-4 record, and 33 hits with 22 runs allowed across his last 30 innings tell the story. His strikeout line sits at 5.5, cleared in just 20% of his last ten outings and 25% all season, with a four strikeout average over his most recent five.

Carlos has faced Kremer three times and reached in every one, going two for two plus a walk, an .819 wOBA, and a .597 xwOBA underneath it. His season line of .181 with a .519 OPS is why the market is keeping the line at 0.5.

Target Field is the fourth friendliest park in baseball at a 103 overall factor, boosting runs to 106 and hits to 104 while holding homers to 95. That suppression matters little against someone like Kremer who is getting driven into the gaps. If Carlos can get on base, he has Henderson, Alonso, or Holliday behind to bring him home.

Andrew Painter arrives at Busch carrying a 6.48 ERA and a 1-8 record, with a .346 xwOBA, .456 xSLG, and 9% barrel rate to encourage his opponents. He also exited his last start with hamstring tightness, which may shorten his leash tonight.

Walker has recorded a hit in each of his last five games while averaging 1.6, and in nine of his last ten. He sits fourth in the majors with 82 RBIs, hits .283, and ranks in the 95th percentile for home runs with 23. At home he averages 1.08 hits per game. Busch does suppress the long ball at a 75 factor, so the hits and RBI paths matter more than the power here.
